Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha are in VOGUE and have now officially exchanged their wedding vows. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
While the newlyweds are on their way to their honeymoon, we are still in awe of the stylish looks portrayed by the bride during each function. From mehendi, ring ceremony to the grand reception, she won our hearts with her exquisite looks. Here’s a sneak peek at the gorgeous looks she sported at each ceremony:
Starting with the henna ceremony, Dia Mirza opted for a marigold yellow Anarkali suit with fuchsia dupatta, designed by Ritu Kumar. The veteran designer drew inspiration from the vintage outfits worn by royal ladies around the 15th century to design this breathtaking piece. Undoubtedly, she looked resplendent with her braided hair featuring floral accessories.
Palms decorated with bridal mehendi, the former Miss Asia Pacific chose to wear an electric blue and gold traditional lengha for her Sangeet ceremony. Designed by Anita Dongre, the lengha was opulent and enriched with gota work. Classic polki jewelry and pearl maang tikka completed her look for the ceremony.
For the very special day, it was none other than Ritu Kumar for the beautiful bride. Dia flaunted a complete traditional look for her wedding. Borrowing inspiration from the Mughal era, Ritu Kumar designed her wedding ensemble by using zardozi craftsmanship. The ensemble including kurta, farshi pyjama with embroidered emerald dupatta was rich in Indian weaves and crafts. The entire old world charm left us mesmerised!
Post her traditional wedding look, Dia chose a contemporary lengha for her reception ceremony. The newly wedded bride looked no less than an ethereal beauty in a splendorous peach pink and gold colored couture lengha by designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil.
We feel each and every outfit worn by the actress made her look like a million bucks. We give her thumbs up! What about you?
