Manav Gangwani presented his couture collection on the last day of India Fashion Week.
Titled Le’Amoureuse (meaning the beloved), the french collection showcased a departure from Manav’s usual style however incorporating a sensual and feminine vibe.
French background music started off the show with models donning silhouettes such as statement gowns with long trails and arm capes. Also on display were sari gowns in a multitude of fabrics and textures like sheer tulle, georgettes, organza and laces; where as the male models wore zardozi printed suits, suit coats with dhoti pants.
We appreciated a wide ranging colour palette comprising of hues such as coral, gold, turquoise, and lots of metallic shades.
Bollywood reigning queen and showstopper, Kangana Ranaut wore a glittery wine coloured gown complete with nude makeup. The sensual gown weighed around 30 Kgs, but the ‘Queen’ actress looked confident and feminine as she effortlessly walked the ramp
The collection showed Manav Gangwani’s rich craftsmanship and exquisite thread work with swarovski jewels adding to the glamour of the new collection.
