The NT ‘Walk Of Fame’

7 Times Nikhil Thampi Pantsuit Ruled Red Carpet Style This Year

It is that time of the year again when everyone is looking back at the year that was, taking stock of their favorite moments and memories they would like to carry forth in the new year. And for us here at Exclusively, that spells sartorial highlights – the best of from the fashion world through the year. And we start with our favorite designer moments.

If there is one Indian designer that has captured our imagination in a major way recently, it has to be Nikhil Thampi. From being an accidental fashion industry entrant (after all it’s not often a psychology graduate/aviation entrepreneur decides to turn designer) to a red carpet favorite, there is something to be said for the signature the handsome young designer has created with his bold designs.

From the sexy cutout ensembles and unconventional sari drapes to the now iconic metallic obi belt, some of our absolutely favorite red carpet sightings have been in NT creations. Talking about 2015 though, what stood out from the house of Nikhil Thampi was the pantsuit, a strong yet sensual contemporary version of the evergreen closet essential.

From pretty pastel number as sighted on Kalki Koechlin to out and out power diva version on Sridevi, we take a look at 7 red carpet Nikhil Thampi pantsuit appearances that deserve to go on our red carpet hall of fame diaries (Oh and don’t forget to scroll down as we disclose an exciting Nikhil Thampi news tidbit you definitely would want to know!):
