1. Priyanka Chopra The First Bollywood Actress To Win People’s Choice Award for ‘Quantico’:

Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra has won the favourite actor in new TV series honour at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards for her performance of an FBI recruit on American show Quantico. She sparkled on the red carpet in a sequinned Vera Wang dress. Enhancing her hazel eyes was a faded smoky eye, defined by dramatic lashes, and a textured hairdo to complete the look.

The 33-year-old actor took to Twitter to thank her fans, who voted for her. “I am so fortunate! Thank you to everyone who voted for me at the #PCAs! My #PCManiacs-I am nothing without you! Big love,” .

2. How the #Hashtag Changed Fashion:

The love between Instagram and fashion could be summed up by the most liked picture of the last five years: the selfie of Kendell Jenner lying on the floor in a lace dress with her hair arranged into hearts. It gained 3.1m likes and, with the hashtag “hearthair”, more than 10,000 followers shared their versions of the picture. This is the extreme end of online influence but it does demonstrate what fashion has known for a while. In a world where nothing happens unless it’s on Instagram, the # is everything – and retailers are using it for commercial gain.

3. Balmain Spring 2016 Ad Features Cindy, Naomi and Claudia:

The super trio Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer have reunited to pose for Steven Klein in Balmain’s Spring 2016 ad. All the three, in their late forties look super as ever.

Blamain creative director Olivier Rousteing, who is just 30, said, “While we shot these images, I had to smile as I imagined how my adolescent self would have reacted with utter disbelief if someone could have traveled back in time to tell me that one day I would be in a New York studio, watching Steven Klein shoot Cindy, Claudia and Naomi for my spring 2016 campaign — for those four singular talents have inspired me from day one.”

4. L’Oreal Unveils Smart Skincare Packs:

L’Oreal introduced a skin patch on Wednesday designed to monitor ultraviolet exposure and help consumers educate themselves about sun protection.

The Paris-based cosmetics maker introduced a skin patch on Wednesday designed to monitor ultraviolet exposure and help consumers educate themselves about sun protection. Worn like a band-aid, the My UV Patch will be offered under the La Roche-Posay brand later this year, L’Oreal said in a statement.

The one-inch patch, which is half the thickness of an average hair, stretches and adheres directly to any area of skin that the consumer wants to monitor, unlike the rigid alternatives currently on the market, L’Oreal said. Wearers will be able to take a photo of the patch and upload it to a mobile app to determine the amount of UV they’ve been exposed to.
