Say Yes To The Time Trusted Golden Rules to Beautiful Skin: Cleansing Toning Moisturising
No matter how good you are at making your skin look flawless with layers of make up, even you know the most important thing to looking good is a healthy, glowing skin. And healthy skin is something which doesn’t need a lot of hard work or rack full of products. The more simple you keep your beauty regime the better it is for your skin since its the most delicate organ of the body. Trying out a whole lot of products does nothing but irritates the skin to the extent that it becomes too sensitive, going beyond repair. Just follow the three basic steps of skincare- Cleansing, Toning, Moisturising (CMT) and trust us you need nothing else.
Why is the CMT regime so important?
The dust, oil and pollution that deposits on your skin everyday when you go out is needless to say needs cleaning. Also make up is one more thing that needs to be completely wiped out from the skin before going to bed. Then toning helps to tighten the pores that have opened up as a result of the cleaning process. And finally moisturising to supply the daily dose of moisture to the skin that is very much important to keep the skin soft and supple for a longer period of time.
Remove every speck of make up, dust and grim that you were exposed to all day with a gentle foaming face wash. You can also replace the face wash with a scrub or exfoliator twice every week to get rid of the dead skins that can make your skin look dull. You can also use a cleansing milk (for dry skin types) and then wash your face with lukewarm water. A skin that goes to bed without cleaning tends to grow old fast (Truth!). The pores on the skin surface need cleaning so that it can breathe and heal on its own.
Toning helps to remove any residual dirt or cleanser on the face. It tightens the pores after they open up due to the cleansing process. Toning also helps in restoring the natural pH level of the skin, making it ready for being hydrated. One can use fresh cucumber juice as a natural toner while oily skin types can opt for lemon juice mixed with honey.
The last and the final step is equally important for all skin types, saying it a priori since the ones with oily skin think that moisturising will only make situations harder for them. Of course there are different moisturisers for different skin types but this step should not be ignored since It helps in restoring the natural moisture of the face to keep it soft, supple and glowing.
